AIM OF THE GAME
PUNTO Y BANCA is a game where there are two possible bets PLAYER or BANKER.
The aim of the game is to form a hand whose point value is 9 or nearer, in accordance with the tables shown below.
Points on cards go as follow:
- Aces: Count as 1 point.
- Tens and Face cards: Count as zero.
- All other Cards: Count as face value.
RULES OF PLAY
Before each round, the player can bet either punto (player) o banca (bank). If punto (player) wins, it is paid at even money. If banca (bank) wins it is paid at even money less a 5% commission.
GAME DEVELOPMENT
Two cards are dealt to the Player and the Banker, one at a time, alternatively, beginning with the Player.
When the cards dealt to the Player or the Banker add 8 or 9 points (NATURAL), the game is finished, not having the option of drawing a third card.
If the cards dealt do not add 8 or 9 points, the rules shown as follow will apply to the Player and the Banker.
When the game is finished, the croupier will announce the winning hand and each hand's points and will proceed to pay the winnings of the winning bets and the 5% deduction when the banker wins.
