The aim of the game is to form a hand whose point value is 21 or near as possible, without going over the 21 limit.
RULES OF PLAY
Points on cards go as follow:
Aces: Count as 1 or 11 points, depending on which is most convenient to reach 21.
Tens and Face cards: Count as 10 points.
Pip Cards: Count as face value.
PLAYERS
The number of players permitted to play will depend on the number of
boxes on the table layout with a maximum of 7 boxes. You can bet on the hand of any other player
or standing up player with the player's consent, within the betting limits,
not being allowed to give the player advice or instructions, having to accept
the player's initiatives.
GAME DEVELOPMENT
When not having Black Jack, the player decides if he wants another card dealt,
wanting to get closer to 21 than the dealer, if you go higher than 21,
you will lose the hand. When the dealer reaches 17 points, he will have to stand,
not drawing any more cards for himself, if the dealer hasn't reached 17, he will continue
to draw cards until he reaches 17 or more. An Ace in the dealer's hand is always counted as
eleven if possible, without the dealer going over 21; in that case it will count as 1 point.
If the dealer goes over 21 points, he will pay all the bets that are still on the table;
if the dealer hasn't reached 21 points, he will collect the bets of the players that
have less points than himself, and will pay the players that have more points than him.
Hands of equal value will be considered a draw, not winning or losing
Black Jack consists in getting 21 points with the first two dealt cards,
(an Ace combined with a 10 or any face card), and wins any other combination,
except for when the dealer gets a Black Jack. It pays 3 to 2.
INSURANCE
If the dealer´s first card is an Ace, he will offer
insurance to the players, before dealing the third card
to the first player, after the third card, no one can get insured.
The player that decides to get insurance will bet up to half of
his original bet amount on the insurance betting strip in front
of him. If the dealer gets Black Jack, the betting
will be paid at odds of 2-1, if the dealer doesn't get Black Jack,
the player will lose the insurance bet.
DOUBLING DOWN AND SPLITTING PAIRS
If the first two cards dealt to the player add to 9, 10 or 11, you can double
your bet but can only hit one more card. When dealt a matching pair of cards,
you can split the hand into two separate hands and play them independently.
If using this option, the player will have to match the bet on his original
hand. If splitting a pair of Aces, the dealer will restrict the player to
drawing only one additional card on each Ace, with the exception of drawing
a third Ace. If you split aces and get a 10 or a Face Card, it will be considered
21 and not Black Jack.
CONVENIENT TO KNOW
The table's manager decision is irrevocable.
Once the first card has left the "sabot", you are unable to bet or modify placed bets.
